My name is Malakai Forthright, and I am a soldier of Cobalt Union, an organization designed to hunt these deadly beasts. After the organization's Special Missions Team goes missing, the rest of us are sent out to find them. What I discover along the way is something my team and I will never be prepared for.

Malakai
Hair Color: Coal Black
Eye Color: Icy Blue
Height: Approximately 6'4
"Directly beside her is another man and I feel my mouth open unwillingly when I realize I’m staring too hard. Taller than all of the rest, he stands as solid as a rock. My lip twitches in awe as I take in his coal-black hair that lays just above his eyebrows. His eyes, a frighteningly light blue, pierce in Oakland’s direction. With a deep jawline and arms so defined, they poke out of the sleeves of his shirt, he is as handsome as you could imagine a Prince Charming. But, contradictorily, danger intertwines with the tattoos lacing up his arm, peeking out at the neck of his shirt.

Talia
Hair Color: White/Silver
Eye Color: Caramel Brown
Height: Approximately 5'4
"My eyes follow the girl as she muffles her way into the crowd. Her cream-colored dress flashes in between those in the crowd who are oblivious to her presence. Her hair is a white color with silver highlighting through the long locks. Her skin is almost as tan as Gabe’s and when her caramelized eyes flash to me, I recognize her." -Kai's first impression of Talia.
Oakland
Hair Color: Sandy Blonde
Eye Color: Oak Brown

"Despite my rough appearance, he smiles at me with welcome. His sandy blonde hair bushing above his eyebrows is an odd match to his darkened brown eyes. Gorgeously so, he eyes me up and down, but the smile remains." -Talia's first impression of Oakland.
Gabriel
Hair Color: Dirty Blonde
Eye Color: Emerald Green
Height: Approximately 6'2
"I dare another peek and my eyes land on a tall, muscular man who speaks with Oakland in the most divine Australian accent. His hair is a mess of blonde curls and his skin is so tan, it looks as though the sun kissed him itself. His eyes sparkle with emerald green specks as a dashing grin surfaces on the lower half of his face, showcasing his perfect teeth." -Talia's first impression of Gabe.
Olivia
Hair Color: Strawberry Blonde
Eye Color: Baby Blue
Height: Approximately 5'7
"A few feet away is a girl. She looks to be much taller than me and the definition in her muscles proves she could toss me across the room with little effort. Despite her muscular tone, she is still gorgeous with a strawberry blonde braid weaving over her shoulder and freckles lining the round of her nose, overlapping her cheeks. For a slight second, I find myself envious." -Talia's first impression of Olivia.
